The History of our SchoolBloor West Nursery School has been in continuous operation since 1982. Each year, between 16 and 24 children have graduated from BWNS to go on to public school with confidence and a keen enjoyment for learning. Our current program is a 16 children school with two teachers. BWNS was begun by Runnymede United Church in 1982 to provide a non-profit Christian nursery school for the Bloor West Village community. The nursery school is located at Runnymede United, where full use of local church facilities makes for an ideal location. Most nursery schools do not have the use of a full gymnasium in the dark days of winter! BWNS is registered with the Government of Ontario as a Nursery School, and maintains the high standards expected of such organisations. |
