Josephine Zammit
We are delighted to have Josephine Zammit join the teaching
staff of Bloor West Nursery School. Josephine lives in our community, and has
two children. She has over ten years experience in teaching and caring for
young children.
Josephine started her career in preschool teaching in
Scotland. She has a Scottish Nursery Nurse's Certificate, and started her
career as a nursery assistant in her native Glasgow. She has worked at a
number of other nursery schools, including a stint in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Most
recently, Josephine worked for four years as a supply pre-school caregiver for
the ESL pre-school daycare programme.
Josephine is studying part-time for her degree at the
University of Toronto, and she enjoys music and swimming.
